The Los Angeles Health Services EMS agency is responsible for approving EMT training programs and facilities in the county.

How Much Does EMT Training in Los Angeles Cost?

You should expect to pay around $850 for the EMT training program. The cost covers things like registration fees, books and supplies (stethoscopes, scissors, etc.), uniforms, physical exam, drug screen and background checks.

How Long Does EMT Training Take?

Basic EMT training generally takes a minimum of 150 hours. Expect to spend two to four months in classes depending on the schedule and number of class days per week.
