The Idaho EMS agency is responsible for approving EMT training programs and facilities in the county.

How Much Does EMT Training in Idaho Cost?

You should expect to pay around $800 for the EMT training program. The cost may pr may not cover things like registration fees, books and supplies (stethoscopes, scissors, etc.), uniforms, physical exam, drug screen and background checks. Some institutions require students to purchase text books and equipment on their own.

How Long Does EMT Training Take?

Basic EMT training generally takes a minimum of 140 hours. Expect to spend two to four months in classes depending on the class schedule and number of class days per week.
